Due to the extenuating circumstances regarding COVID 19 and remote learning, no formal external examinations will take place during the 2020-21 academic year for students in Years 11, 12 , 13 and 14.

The Northern Ireland exam board CCEA in line with guidance from the Department of Education Northern Ireland, has indicated that students in Years 12, 13 and 14 will be given Centre Determined Grades (CDGs).

​

It is likely that other non Northern Ireland exam boards including WJEC, AQA, Pearson BTEC will adopt a similar approach.
